STRIDE @ Houston Street Center
University Settlement STRIDE offers eclectic, engaging, and enriching programming that includes:
- SHSAT test prep with Five Points Learning (which is of particular interest to many current 7th graders)
- Basketball with the Director of Youth Services for Two Bridges
- Book Group/Creative Writing with a Teaching Artist from National Book Foundation
- Maker Space Tech Club @ Mulberry Library (Robotics! Stop-motion animation! Photography!)
- Civic Engagement with Service Learning Project
- Cooking, Mad Scientist, Fitness, and other clubs based on student interest
