Principal's Corner

Monday, April 2, 2018

Dear SGL Students & Families,

Spring has sprung!  We are well into better weather and our 3rd marking period.  As the weather gets warmer, we want to remind students that uniforms should be worn everyday.  The only allowances will be made to students that earned a dress-down day.  If your child earned a dress-down day, they must present a valid ticket to Mr. Sanchez [Dean] or me.  We also want to remind students of appropriate dress, even if you have earned a dress-down day.  Pants/Jeans with holes, slippers, and revealing clothes are just some examples of what is inappropriate and not allowed in the school building.  Remember, we are Global Leaders, we are learning to change the world, so we have to start with us.

Continue to check our school calendar for important events. Come out and support our SLT and PTA meetings.

Spring Recess has begun on Friday, March 30th.  Students and staff report back to school on Monday, April 9th!  During the break, try to read your favorite book at least 30 minutes everyday. Work hard on your homework packets.
