Mission Statement & Schoolwide Goals

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to provide an education so that students will have academic, social, and emotional skills to succeed in high school, college, and all future endeavors.  We believe that each student has unique qualities and talents that will enable them to be leaders within the global community. Graduates of the School for Global Leaders will have the communication skills, leadership qualities, and awareness of their responsibility to advocate for change in the world.

SCHOOLWIDE PRIORITY GOALS

Pedagogical staff will create and implement comprehensive, multi-level system(s) of assessment that will be used to track students’ progress over time and create common interventions and enrichment opportunities for specific sub groups.  Pedagogical staff will create, implement and revise common protocols and thinking routines so that students have platforms to display their ideas, questions and new understandings verbally, visually and in written form.
